Years ago, our Pitmaster Miles and his wife McKenzie thought they would provide a foundational experience for their young children in learning to raise a pig. They brought this pig home, named him Lil Chubbs, and quickly found out that he had a knack for escaping his pen. Each afternoon, he'd be out roaming the yard, and McKenzie and kids would chase him 'round and 'round. McKenzie would run one way, the kids would run another, and Lil Chubbs would take off right down the middle. Eventually he outgrew his piglet mischief, turned into Big Chubbs, and finally joined the Cook Family at the dinner table. However, his legacy lives on as he inspires our signature dish, the Big Chubbs Pulled Pork Sandwich.
